Hamdani Traders is recognized as a symbol of trust and quality in the trade of Himalayan salt. We manufacture and export Himalayan rock salt products to various parts of the world.
Hamdani Traders began operations after the acquisition of Hamdani Traders, which started its trade activities in 1998, focusing on refining, processing, and manufacturing Himalayan rock salt products. The journey began with a mining warehouse and a packaging unit.
Currently, we operate one unit in Karachi and another at the mines for the manufacturing of Himalayan rock salt products. Our purpose-built factories are well-equipped with the latest machines and expert craftsmen to produce these unique rock salt lamps. Our factories have the capacity to handle bulk orders in any size, shape, or weight, within the specified deadline, for the customers’ convenience. We distribute health through natural resources – Himalayan salt.
Hamdani Traders is a registered member of TDAP (Trade Development Authority of Pakistan), FBR (Federal Board of Revenue), and KCCI (Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
How We Get Himalyan Salt?
Himalayan salt is rock salt or halite from the Punjab region of Pakistan. It is mined at the Khewra Salt Mine in Khewra, Jhelum District, Punjab, which is situated in the foothills of the Salt Range hill system in the Punjab province of the Indo-Gangetic Plain.

Founder
The late Syed Manzoor Shah Hamdani (1933-2019), the founder of Hamdani Traders, was not only a visionary businessman but also a revered humanitarian and philanthropist. His legacy lives on through various charitable institutions established based on his values and vision for societal welfare.
These institutions include Qamar-ul-Islam Hospital, Dar-ul-Aloom Qamar-ul-Islam, Dar-ul-Aloom Zia-ul-Quran Sulemaniya lil Banat (Azam Basti), Anjuman Qamar-ul-Islam Sulemaniya Clifton, Dar-ul-Aloom Moin-ul-Islam Karachi Cantt, Dar-ul-Aloom Mohamidiya Sulemaniya Attock, and Syed Shah Manzoor Hamdani Welfare Foundation in Karachi and Kashmir. These organizations, founded by his family in alignment with his philanthropic ideals, continue to serve the underprivileged, providing quality education, healthcare, and support to the needy.
His efforts in healthcare, education, and community welfare have left an indelible mark, and his family continues to carry forward his noble vision.
